Prince George's County youth between the ages of 15 - 19 may register for free job readiness training, offered in partnership with the Prince George's Community College and the Prince George's County Public Schools.

Youth@Work/SYEP job readiness training will provide youth an opportunity to develop essential workplace skills including critical thinking, workplace etiquette and communication.  Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Participants will be required to attend four 4-hour sessions, held from 9am to 1pm in several locations throughout the County.  (Participants may select a location during registration.  Sessions will be held at Parkdale High School, Central High School and Crossland High School.)  Participants will also be asked to participate in online follow-up sessions to practice skills learned in class.   Students may complete the online sessions at home or in computer labs that will be available after each classroom session.

Youth@Work students must register for classes online. Click here  for online registration instructions.   Click here to view "10 Simple Steps to Registration."  Registration for job readiness training will be open until April 4, 2014.
