LARGO, MARYLAND - On Thursday, September 26th, President Obama will travel to Largo, Maryland to deliver remarks at Prince George's Community College to lay out one of the cornerstones of what it means to be middle class in America: having access to affordable health care that you can count on.
In advance of the President's visit, the White House shared a brief statement that foreshadows his plan: In just a few days, uninsured Americans will finally have access to comprehensive coverage that fits their needs and budget, many for the first time.  And for Americans who have insurance today, they will finally have the security of knowing their care can't be taken away when they need it most, due to a pre-existing condition.
Students, staff, faculty and special invited guests of Prince George's Community College are set to attend this highly-anticipated event in hopes of learning more about the President's new healthcare initiative and how it will impact them and their families.
