Protect Your Most Valuable Asset—YOU! Prince George’s Community College Holds Community Shred Event with NBC4/Allstate and the Office of the County Executive

LARGO, MARYLAND -- NBC4, Allstate, and Shred-It have teamed up with Prince George’s County Office of the County Executive and Prince George’s Community College once again to bring you the next NBC4/Allstate Community Shred event. On Saturday, December 6, 2014, Shred-It will provide the community with a service that will help protect sensitive information and prevent identity theft. At the last community shred over 2,000 cars were served and participants had peace of mind about the security of their personal information.

What: Community Shred—Community Members can bring up to five boxes of their personal documents (no CDs or credit cards) to Prince George’s Community College and we’ll shred them for free. (A $50 value for attendees)

You must drive up with materials to be shredded. Walkups are not allowed. No business or commercial material will be accepted. Only five boxes maximum per vehicle.

When: December 6, 2014 at 8am to 11am (Vehicles must be in line by 11am to receive service)

Where: Prince George’s Community College (Entry Point at Prince Place only)

This event will be open rain or shine. Please do not bring batteries, flammables, combustibles, electronic equipment (Hard Drives), media materials, binders, or hanging files.
