Prince George’s Community College will be kicking off its annual Constitution Day events on Monday, September 14th. This celebration will span over the course of 2 weeks with events on the main campus as well as extension centers.
In honor of the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, and have become citizens, the Constitution Day committee have put together a host of fun and bloggable events. Among those events will be 6 registration drives, a scavenger hunt in DC, and 2 panel discussions with topics ranging from immigration rights, multi-cultural differences, and knowing our rights as individuals, a community and a minority.
Join us as we reflect on the ideals and visions of our country's founders and leaders, and come together, in citizenship, to hold up our nation and move EVERYONE forward...together!
